I am traveling through the upper Midwest for a couple weeks and expect to spend a lot of time with my 89 year old Mother. I am reminded that our family is about to lose another generation of our family. My Mother is the last one of 11 kids still with us and my Uncle John is the last of my Father’s family still with us. The virus was the cause of the projects I was working on being canceled but the good news in this is I was able to finish my book about the early years of my parents lives and I was able to go through several boxes of photos and writings about both sides of our family. Doing this has been a two-sided coin, on one side I am so thrilled to see all of this and be able to share it with everyone, but the other side of the coin is sadness. The sadness is that there were my Grandparents generation and before that have been lost. I have some information but not as much as I could have had I asked more when I was young. I will continue to share my findings and let the world know the Ingalls family is still here and we are still part of the America that built our country. Family is Everything!

I know what you mean about asking questions. Being the youngest of the youngest (Mom), by the time I got to the age of wanting to ask questions some family had already passed.
